Clocky is an alarm clock I’d wager most people need if they are brave enough to admit it.
Clocky gives you a chance to wake up like a reasonable, sane person who has some grasp of responsibility. If you fail — and you know you would, or you wouldn’t be reading this with so much interest — Clocky sounds its alarm again, rolls of your nightstand, and starts tearing across the floor. You have to get your ass out of bed to turn it off before it finds some matches and sets the dog on fire.

The question isn’t “Who needs this?” but instead, “Who doesn’t need this?”

That is one cheeky clock. Get me a hammer.

Not that I’d ever buy one, but I can see that clock “accidentally” rolling itself under the wheels of my Miata.

I’ll take 2. Uhh… three… I think one will make an excellent birthday gift.

My friend had a good idea last night: the makers of Clocky could follow-up with a product that’s a hammer on two wheels that would eventually chase Clocky as it sat in your kitchen, music blaring and eating your cereal, and smash it to bits.
It’d be like BattleBots, only you’d be asleep and miss everything.

[...] Ever had problems waking up in the morning? Keep on hitting the snooze? Your problems are now solved!!! Meet Clocky, the alarm clock that makes you chase it across the room. If you hit the snooze, the clock will take off across the room. You then need to chase it “before it finds some matches and sets the dog on fire.” (Graceful Flavor) [...]

ok, this COULD work, assuming that one was motivated enough to chase it around. my bet is that most of us who are victimized by early mornings would quickly become immune to this alarm going off!

I’ll take 10 please.
It’ll be so surreal waking up bleary eyed, barely sane and watching the two roibots running around.
