If you take the Zune logo and flip it 180 degrees horizontally and take a wee bit of creative license, you get:
Amazing. It’s like Evian being naive backwards, only with ten thousand times the lulz.

I think the “e” is flipped over. So it is not simply a mirror image. What’s wrong with brown? Chocolate and coffee are brown.
Is it because iPods do not come in brown? FSJ making fun of Zune only shows he knows Zune is a threat.

@beanie: I’ll give you this — you are easily GF’s best contrarian/troll. No question.

Yep beanie, you just lost all of your credibility with that one. Anyone that thinks the Zune is a threat to Apple, is delusional. The many of the million that sold since November [if you believe it] are collecting dust on store shelves. Apple sold almost 20 million iPods last quarter. My Windows friends own iPods, and would not even consider a Zune. Some of them own the iPhone. I am just shocked that how badly the Zune is selling. Zune is French for “loser”. How many do you own?

Busted! My 7 yr old looked at the backward ZUNE design and was giggling “a-nus” around the house last night, after I showed it to my wife, when the little one was peaking. I hope that she forgets it today.

And it really doesn’t help that the graphic looks like a starfish orifice;-)

realityonastick, yeah, what is up with that? MS had crazy stupid branding!
Like with the 360, it’s supposed to represent a sharp breath in, like in surprise. But, when I breath in, my chest expands, so that would be the opposite. Either way it is not only a stupid design concept but also leaves it wide open to the obvious question. How much does your 360 suck? Or does it just blow?
It’s incredible to ponder how many people get paid so much to do really stupid things.
Sorry, I think the rant is now over.
